Trane's Moisture Handbook |

Recently, the Trane Company of LaCrosse, Wisconsin, has published a book titled "Managing Building Moisture." This book is written specifically to address moisture and humidity in commercial buildings. The manual helps HVAC system designers identify and quantify moisture sources. It also offers moisture management techniques related to the building envelope, the occupied space, and the mechanical equipment room.
The book claims that moisture problems can occur in buildings in any geographic location. The solutions identified in the manual apply to moisture management in any climate, but the concepts are especially helpful for buildings located in hot and humid climates.
The 50 pages of information include graphic drawings, tabelized data, and engineering formulas needed by many in property management.
